Dry-type transformers generate a lot of heat when working. Through natural air cooling and forced air cooling, the temperature can meet the normal operation of the transformer. However, some transformers contain too many magnetic components. The heat generated accumulates to a certain extent. The heat that cannot be dissipated will affect the normal operation of the transformer. For this reason, a new type of water-cooled dry-type transformer is designed. By cleverly laying water pipes and designing insulation sealing, the heat exchange rate is improved, which greatly improves the heat dissipation effect and the load working capacity of the transformer.
High and low voltage water-cooled transformers have the characteristics of strong heat dissipation capacity, small size, and low cost. They are widely used in metallurgy, electrolysis, frequency conversion, traction, DC power supply, electroplating, charging, excitation, rectifier power supply and other industries with high high-frequency components, as well as some industrial frequency and high current industries and places with high ambient temperature.
There are two cooling methods for Benyuan Electric’s water-cooled transformers:
One is the water-electricity integration method using water-cooling pipes.
The other is the cooling method of attaching water-cooling plates on the surface of the coil and the core.
The coil structure of the water-cooled transformer can be open or epoxy injection according to the voltage level of the product, operating environment and other different conditions.
